I'm loving the Sy-Klone so far! I've taken it on a weekend Offroad trip splashing through mud puddles over the hood, driven through heavy rain, and pressure washed the car multiple times and not a drop of water made it in the air box. Trust me, I've checked, because I hydrolocked and totally destroyed my engine before getting a snorkel, so now me and my bank account are paranoid.

For those with 5th gen 4runners, the cost of this mod and the snorkel is about 1/10th the cost of a replacement engine. If you ever go through water crossings, don't make my mistake! Buy this and never look back.

I drive a 2nd gen Xterra with an airflow snorkel.
I got this after driving home in a snow storm. Even when I turned the standard head backwards I was still pulling in snow and had ice build up on the inside from the head down. So I bought a sy-klone and haven't had any more ice issues. Also there's way less dust on my air filter from running around in the desert this summer.

Great addition to my vehicle. This is a quality made piece that has held up beyond my expectations.

Transitioned from the traditional forced/ ram air attachment. Not only does it function better but it looks better..

Snorkle was good, pretty much as expected. A little challenging on the install for a 2000 GX470.

I absolutely love this thing! I don’t ever worry about water getting in my snorkel. Also, leaves dust dirt and even bugs don’t get in anymore. It also just looks dope !!

This thing is great! I always see bugs, unfortunately stuck in it. So obviously it’s working. Here in Florida it rains like we’re in the Amazon so I never worry about water getting inside of my system. Super happy with this upgrade
