Works exactly as described. The engine draws in clean, fresh air and now has the extra security of a pre-cleaner.

For those concerned about noise, on a turbo diesel it is half the noise of a classic ram head turned backwards.

As everyone knows that the standard snorkel Top cap/air intake is really useless and dirty conditions at removing dirt from the air before go to the air filter large dirt machinery for years have been using pre - air cleaners with awesome results and this designs have been improved and utilised by Sy-Klone series of air pre-cleaners so why not use the best on your four-wheel-drive as I'm sick of having my airbox full of dust, flies, another little creatures flying through the air including stones from Mars.
Since replacing the original top cap of my snorkel assembly the airbox now stone and pest free and allowing the air filter to clean the air that it's supposed too.
The biggest problem is a lack of metric sizes at the moment and the adapters being a little bit while in my case needed to be grounded down a few thousands of an inch if you still use the ancient measurements instead of the modern metric system.

Definitely a game changer of an upgrade, I never even turned my engine of with the stock snorkel head. Got my snorkel installed and instantly installed the Snorkel upgrade the look and and performance is amazing. I know the benefits are astounding on a side note one of the features I do really like is you can hear the performance when you step on the gas. Love love love the snorkel upgrade.

Love it! Perfect addition to my snorkel. Was able to make it fit my Airaid snorkel on my Tacoma with an adapter I acquired on another site. Tight fit, but works great! Looks good on the truck.

The filter is staying so much cleaner since the pre-cleaner vs the scoop. Although it is not cheap it will cut down on air filter maintenance which saves on time and money.

When I received the pre cleaner it surpassed my expectations! The quality was unsurpassed! All the necessary hardware came with it and it fit like a glove. Not to mention it looks 100x better than the goose neck on top. I highly recommend buying this addition to your snorkel to take it to the highest level.

The snorkel upgrade is perfect for anyone who installs a snorkel and doesn’t want to clean/replace their filter monthly. Recommended from Asheville Vehicle Outfitters (AVO), I installed at the same time as my snorkel after burying the hood of the Tundra in the Appalachiacola.

The Sy-Klone 9001 I installed on my FJ Cruiser only took a few minutes to install. I think the fit and finish is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone with a Snorkel installed.
